Recommended by groomers and veterinarians How to Use: Before using the undercoat removal tool, read the user manual carefully. The FURminator is recommended for use 1-2 times a week, for no longer than 10-20 minutes. However, the grooming time may vary depending on the condition, thickness of the coat, or breed of the individual. More frequent use of the undercoat grooming tool may be necessary during shedding periods. To use the FURminator correctly and effectively, follow these steps: STEP 1: Before starting the grooming process, carefully examine your pet for bruises, wounds, or other skin issues. Then brush the coat, paying special attention to detangling mats. Using the tool on tangled hair may damage it by breaking the teeth. STEP 2: Begin undercoat grooming: gently move the tool over your pet's coat in the direction of hair growth, starting from the neck and gradually moving towards the tail. Make long and gentle strokes, as if brushing. Although the SkinGuard feature prevents the tool's teeth from digging into the skin, too deep or forceful grooming may cause irritation, especially when working around the belly, legs, or intimate areas of the pet. STEP 3: Regularly remove excess hair using the FURejector button. STEP 4: After finishing, remember to protect the FURminator's teeth with the EdgeGuard cap. How to Care for the FURminator: To keep the tool in good condition for as long as possible, adhere to the following guidelines: - Remember to brush your pet before the undercoat removal procedure. Working with the tool on tangled hair may cause the grooming teeth to break. - Be careful not to drop the tool. A fall on a hard surface may result in damage. - Clean the tool with warm water and a mild detergent. Pay attention to dirt between the individual teeth. If necessary, it can be cleaned with a soft brush. - Before storing, the tool must be completely dry. - The tool features EdgeGuard protection along the entire length of the blade to prevent accidental damage during storage.
